Director Greg Whitely followed Mitt Romney, wife Ann, their children, grandchildren and staff members as the former governor of Massachusetts experienced the fun, frustration and exhaustion of two bids for the presidency - in 2008 and 2012. The result is a somewhat interesting documentary in which we see the Romney clan's admirable closeness but we don't get below the man's bland surface. While it touches on Romney's secretly-recorded polarizing comment about a lazy, non-contributing 47 percent of Americans, "Mitt" says little about ideology, about what this candidate believed and would have done differently.
