The movie is about Kelly, Margo, and Cece who are roommates that live in Los Angeles. The three girls have menial jobs. During the evenings they live a very decadent and vibrant night life. Cece loses her department store job, Margo works as a telemarketer, and Kelly works at a pet store and is able to sell pets successfully mostly because of her good looks. On one Friday night, Cece and Margo are ready to go out when they realize that Margo has taken the car to see a DJ she's interested in.
