A great movie masterpiece! James Belushi takes you through the challenge of fighting for happiness. It's a plot that everyone can sink their insecurities and longings into. Actually everyone wonders what if some unfortunate situation in your life never occurred? Would you be happier? Would you be more financially secure? Would you be a better person all around? Well just take this little tour with James Belushi and see what changing the past might really do for your life, hope and happiness. It's a really fun movie to get absorbed in. There's a moment in every scene that everyone can relate to. James brings to the screen the everyday Joe. It's brilliant in dialogue and captures the deepest regrets and insecure thoughts that a married person, in general, just might be thinking 24/7. Everyone wonders...what if. So we are taken back in time and shown just how this guy's life would have been changed if he had won the baseball game back in high school. No kidding! He blamed all of his life's choices on the fact that he felt like a loser. Such good lessons in this film about stupid things that make us feel badly about ourselves. So anyway, he goes back in time and wins the game. He ends up marrying a different woman, has a different job, which incidentally makes him wealthy and everything looks fabulous on the surface. But somehow he's just really not very happy. Suddenly he returns to the reality of the present. He is happier with the wife that he had. He realizes that the past didn't change who he was inside. And of course he lives happily ever after. Everyone comes away from this film feeling good about themselves and their choices that they've made regardless of their past. It's a fun ride! Such a comedy using an in-depth look into your own soul. See it.
