Cassie and Mark Whitman are happily married. They have a teenage son that they are proud of and are still very clearly in love as they celebrate their twentieth anniversary. One day Mark goes on a business trip. His plane crashes and it is reported that he is alive, but injured. A woman is listed as Mark's wife and travelling companion.
