Watch MST3K - The Touch of Satan

MST3K: The Touch of Satan is a 1971 horror film that was riffed on by the crew of Mystery Science Theater 3000. The movie stars Michael Berry as Jodie, a drifter who ends up in a small California town where he meets Melissa (Emby Mellay), a young woman whom he becomes romantically involved with. However, their happiness is short-lived as they soon discover that Melissa's family is cursed and that she is slowly turning into a witch.

The riffers for the MST3K version of the film are Tom Servo (Kevin Murphy), Mike Nelson (Michael J. Nelson), and Crow T. Robot (Bill Corbett). Patrick Brantseg also appears in a few scenes as the character Torgo. The rest of the cast is filled out by Paul Chaplin, Beth McKeever, and Mary Jo Pehl, who provide humorous commentary throughout the movie.

As with most episodes of MST3K, the crew pokes fun at the movie's low production values, stilted dialogue, and bizarre plot. They also make numerous references to other horror films and popular culture of the time. Some of the standout moments include Tom Servo singing an extended parody of the theme from The Love Boat and Crow T. Robot performing a mock commercial for a fake product called "Scratch-Off Sweaters."

While the movie itself is not particularly scary, the MST3K crew's witty commentary makes the viewing experience entertaining and enjoyable. Whether you're a fan of horror movies, comedy, or both, MST3K: The Touch of Satan is definitely worth checking out.
