A ruthless TV reporter is sent into the local swamps after a story he completed on the legendary swamp dwelling creature known as Muckman was revealed to be a hoax. Assisted by a driver and camera operator the reporter and his crew set out to right the wrongs they feel they have done over the course of the Muckman story. Things take a creepy turn when Muckman begins to appear even though the crew claim to not be committing another hoax.
