Mugshots: Beth Carpenter is a crime special that was released in 2013. When her sister died, Beth Carpenter wanted to have custody of her niece, but the judge granted custody to her brother-in-law. Dissatisfied with the judge's decision and knowing her brother-in-law's history, she decides to take matters into her own hands. In 1994, she hires a hit man to kill her brother-in-law, and he did. When he was arrested, he confessed to the police that he and Carpenter were involved romantically. Carpenter was in Ireland when she was arrested. She was extradited back and was sentenced to life in prison without parole in 2002.
