Before OJ Simpson was involved in the crime, he was an NFL player throughout the 1970s and was an actor during and after his football career. In 1994 he was arrested for the murder of his wife and her friend which he was found not guilty a year later. In 2007 he and a group of men broke in a Las Vegas hotel and stole sports memorabilia at gunpoint. He admitted to the crime and was arrested. A year later he was found guilty for 10 counts of robbery and sentenced to 9 to 33 years in a Nevada prison.
