A look back at the proposed match-up between then heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali and NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain in 1967. The match was very close to being made with contracts being drawn up until Chamberlain's tax attorney convinced him to not take the bout. Ali was so hated at the time that numerous fight trainers, including Cus D'Amato, offered to train Chamberlain for the fight.
