Watch Mysterium Occupation

Mysterium Occupation is a Belorussian film that focuses on rural Belarus during World War II. This political movie shows that the native people have their own culture and lives. It shows their sufferings since their early modern empire has fallen. The film revolves around their experience during the time of war and reveals that they became victims of their own Communist partisans. They were lionized as officially being freedom fighters in as much as they were with the Germans.

The film is comprised of three different stories that have messages from young lovers; Adam and Eve, Mother and Father.
