Yosemite National Park is one of many in the Americas. This preserved land sits in Central California, and is 1,000 square miles. It was officially considered a national park in the year of 1890, in the fall of October. Yosemite National park stays open all year, all though, they do close some areas in the winter season. They are known for their enormous trees, and relaxing meadows, and unbelievable thunderstorms in the summer season.
The park includes a wide range of activities, from professionally guided tours, and camping, to rock climbing, and hiking. The weather in Yosemite is ever changing. Blame it on the mountains, the temperature, and precipitation can change in an instant. Millions of people continue to visit Yosemite National Park each year.
