This is a dramatic movie about two bankers. They have invented a new way for poor people to pay off their debts. If they win the game, the cash is theirs. Sean Macdonald is a young man with few prospects. His parents are dead, and he lives with his sister. He finds out she is deeply in debt. Her solution is to travel to another country to traffic drugs. If she is successful, she will earn enough money to pay her debt in full. When he is approached by a pair of bankers, he sees an opportunity to help his sister. They tell him the debt will be forgiven if he participates in their game and wins. He has to survive being hunted for just twelve hours.
