As the old saying goes, love is a many splendored thing. It can also be a complicated and confusing thing. That's what Alice learns when a mixup with her husband and a secret admirer ensues. After Alice receives a gift of radish seeds in a card for Valentine's Day, she naturally assumes they are from her husband. She plays coy and secretly sends a gift back to her husband, Sam. The problem is that that gift was not from her husband at all. They were, instead, from a secret admirer that happens to be very close to Sam.

Archie is a fellow lawyer and partner to Sam. He has been so close to him and Alice that he falls for her. So when Sam never mentions anything about receiving her gift, Alice's natural instinct is to assume something is wrong. She makes the quick assumption that he is cheating on her, and she continues to lead him on as an "anonymous" woman. This secret game leads to Alice learning so much more about her husband.

What turned to be out a relatively innocent secret admirer gift leads to much bigger revelations in Alice's life. Could this save her from a lifetime of unhappiness?
