- 1 hr 40 min
Directed by Danny Cannon and released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer is a 1998 sequel to the thriller movie "I Know What You Did Last Summer". This movie has some of the same cast from the previous movie like Jennifer Love Hewitt (reprising her role as Julie James), Freddie Prinze Jr. (reprising his role as Ray Bronson) as well as Muse Watson (reprising his role as Ben Willis). However, it also stars some new faces including: Brandy as Karla Wilson, Mekhi Phifer as Tyrell Martin, Matthew Settle as Will Benson and Jennifer Esposito as Nancy. Interestingly, Jack Black also makes an appearance, although uncredited, as Titul Telesco. The plot of "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" continues Julie's story as she tries to move past the events of the previous summer. Finally, on Independence Day weekend, Ray surprises Julie and invites her back to Southport for the annual Croaker Queen Pageant. Julie refuses and tells Ray that she is not ready to go back after the events of the summer previous, which upsets Ray, and he leaves in a huff. Julie heads back towards her dorm room and while starring at a picture of her deceased best friend Helen, she gets the feeling that someone is in her room. The day after Karla gets a call from a radio station telling her that she has won a trip to Brazil for herself and a few friends. Julie, Karla, Ray, and Tyrell go not realizing that the trip was a plot to kill Julie and all of her friends. The fisherman corners them on the island during a storm after having someone cut all the boats around the island free so they cannot escape. With an all-star cast I Still Know What You Did Last Summer is a chilling continuation of the battle between Julie James and Ben Willis.
