In a world where, since 1953, only women have been born due to a genetic mutation, the last male, Andrew Myers (played by Patrick Gilmore), is being interviewed by a documentary crew. Andrew, a middle-aged man who still lives with his mother, works as a housekeeper at a small clinic, where he is often the subject of ridicule. Andrew's life is a bleak one, and he has never felt truly successful or fulfilled. He is also struggling to come to terms with his own obsolescence: although he is a respected member of society, he knows that there is no future for men, and he feels like a failure because of it.

As Andrew discusses his life and the current state of society with the documentary crew, he reveals his longing to have a family and a sense of purpose beyond simply existing. Despite his own struggles, Andrew is empathetic toward the women around him, and is respected for his good nature and willingness to help others.

One day, while out on a routine visit to a patient's house, Andrew finds himself in the middle of a secret plot that threatens to change the course of humanity. Andrew becomes torn between his sense of duty to his fellow humans and his feelings of inadequacy as a man.

The plot unfolds in a way that challenges societal norms and assumptions about gender, power, and the place of men and women in the world. As the documentary crew follows Andrew on his journey, they also become a part of the story.

The film is a creative and thought-provoking exploration of ideas about gender, identity, and the power dynamics of society. It is a unique piece of science fiction that is both engaging and insightful, presenting complex ideas in an accessible and entertaining way.

The cast, led by Patrick Gilmore's nuanced and empathetic performance, is strong throughout, and director Mark Sawers keeps the pacing tight, creating a slow-burning tension that builds to a satisfying conclusion.

No Men Beyond This Point is a film that does not shy away from the difficult questions it poses, but it also maintains a sense of humor and charm that keeps it from becoming too heavy-handed or preachy. It is a thoughtful and intelligent exploration of gender politics that is sure to spark conversations and debates long after the credits have rolled.

No Men Beyond This Point is a 2015 drama with a runtime of 1 hour and 20 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.3.
