Watch Nuneaton and the Trent Valley Line

Filmed between 2001 and 2004 we visit the well known main line station of Nuneaton, and see the many changes in the infrastructure of the station and track work such as new platforms and the reinstatement of the flyover at Nuneaton. Main line passenger motive power was also to see a major change in the form of the Virgin Class 390 Pendolinos but as you will see the Class 87s were still in charge of main line passenger duties. The freight scene is intense and we can see trains serving the coal and steel industries, deep sea container traffic from companies such as EWS, GB rail freight, Freightliner and trains serving the automotive industries. Of special interest is footage of the Royal Train captured during Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee tour and a charter train hauled by a Class 67. We were also fortunate to film a Class 175 Coradia.
