Pathram movie starts with the arrival of Nandhagopan from Bombay. He is a newly joined associate editor with Kerala Rashmi. One of the leading dailies. He is aggressive and daring. Meets Shegharan. Who is an old comrade who also runs a newspaper and also Nandhan late father friend. Due to his courageous writing. Shegharan gets killed. And Nandhagopan decides to avenge his death.
