Peter and the Penny is a short drama film that was released in 2005. A family comes together in order to celebrate the fiftieth birthday of man named Peter. Peter his mentally disabled, and the family has always tried to take care of him. Part of the celebration involves looking through his piggybank for a magical penny. Peter and the Penny is based off a true story, and features the man that Peter is based off of.
