A coal mine setting makes for calamitous slapstick comedy in this Stan Laurel vehicle. The silent comedian starts out of character in a mink coat but finds his rhythm the moment he steps into an open mineshaft. It's the first of many falls (and that's all before dynamite enters the picture)! James Finlayson plays second banana, the foreman all too easily outraged by Laurel's heedless upstart.
