Portable Storage is a low-budget indie film from 2011, directed by Matt Duggan. It features a cast of mostly unknown actors, with the exception of Todd Aaron Brotze, who has appeared in a number of TV shows and films. The story revolves around two friends, Matt (played by Nicholas Massouh) and Zack (played by Todd Aaron Brotze), who run a small portable storage company. They are struggling financially, and are soon faced with the possibility of losing their business when the bank threatens to foreclose on their loan.

Meanwhile, Matt's girlfriend, Lisa (played by Paz Pardo), is pressuring him to settle down and start a family, while Zack's relationship with his girlfriend is falling apart due to his lack of commitment.

Things start to look up for the two friends when they land a big job, storing the belongings of a wealthy man who is moving to Hawaii. However, their luck takes a turn for the worse when they discover that the man has hidden a valuable painting in one of the storage units.

Desperate to keep their business afloat and pay off their debt, Matt and Zack hatch a plan to steal the painting and sell it on the black market. But as they get deeper into the scheme, they realize that they may have bitten off more than they can chew.

The film is a dark comedy with a lot of heart. The characters are flawed but likable, and the dialogue is sharp and witty. The film also succeeds in showcasing the struggles of small-business owners and the lengths that people will go to in order to keep their dreams alive.

The performances are solid, particularly from Todd Aaron Brotze, who brings a lot of depth and nuance to his portrayal of Zack. Nicholas Massouh is also good as the straight-laced Matt, and Paz Pardo brings a lot of charm to her role as Lisa.

The film is shot on a shoestring budget, but director Matt Duggan does an admirable job of making the most of his limited resources. The film has a gritty, realistic feel to it, and the use of handheld cameras and natural lighting give it an intimate, almost documentary-like quality.

One of the film's strengths is its pacing. It moves quickly and keeps the audience engaged throughout. There are a number of twists and turns in the plot, and the film does a good job of keeping the audience guessing.

Overall, Portable Storage is a solid indie film that is worth checking out. It is well-written, well-acted, and well-directed, and offers a unique take on the small-business owner experience. The film is an entertaining and engaging ride that will leave you rooting for the underdogs.

Portable Storage is a 2011 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 25 minutes. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 8.7.
