At the turn of the 19th century, Nan Kit, The Master Killer (Gordon Liu), conspires to restore the Manchu Dynasty. He flees to Manchuria with a group of his henchmen, where they practice the Buddhist 36 secret style. Nan is, also known as The First Fighter from Manchuria. With his Buddhist style of "Break Neck Palm", he becomes indestructible. The government learns about Nan's whereabouts, and sends Wong Lung, the best fighter in the Army to destroy the clan.
