Reversal of Fortune is a documentary that covers the subject of what a homeless person would do if he was given $100,000. The film introduces a homeless man who lives under a bridge in California. Before this man was chosen, he had to take a psychiatric evaluation and pass a drug test. The film follows the man as he lives his average day. He starts off by collecting bottles and cans to raise money for food, beer and cigarettes for the entire day. The man talks about his life before he became homeless. He also explains how his family and sad childhood brought him to this point of being homeless.
