RiP! A Remix Manifesto

This 2008 free to all document was directed and created by Open Source Cinema project founder, Brett Gaylor. The film focuses on the changing world of copyrights and copyright infringement, specifically in regards to the popular act of "remixing," in the realms of pop, electro, rap and hip-hop music. Some of these people who are featured in the film include, Girl Talk, an American remix artist, Lawrence Lessig, a law professor of Harvard and Dan O'Neill, an American cartoonist who received a great deal of fame for suing the Walt Disney over copyright issues.
