A young man, Vishnu, with a restless spirit sets out on an adventure across India. Vishnu isn’t cut out for the nine to five life of a workingman. An offer to drive an old 1940a era truck across the desert to it’s new home in a museum is his escape. This truck isn’t just a truck. It’s a traveling movie theater. While on his journey Vishnu picks up passengers. His new friends include a traveling entertainer, a runaway and a gypsy woman. Along the way they must face the heat, a lack of water and corrupt cops. A local water lord, who holds them captive, discovers the old movies and decides to make them a deal. Show him the movies in the truck and if they please him they are free to go on. If they don’t please him they will never get to see the coast that the truck is destined for.
