Rugrats in Paris: The Movie is the second Rugrats film. This time, the stars of this popular cartoon are found in Europe. Dad Chas is very busy in Europe because he has a job there. He needs to fix the robots found at EuroReptarland, which can be described as a sort of a Japanese Disneyland. Mister Yamaguchi is the one who runs Disneyland, but the Rugrats will call him Mister Yummy Sushi. If you are a Rugrat too, then you will also call him Mister Yummy Sushi. Dad Chas decides to take his son Chuckie with him and he also decides to take Chuckie’s friends too. Once in Europe, Chuckie becomes very interested in finding a girlfriend for his dad, as this would also mean for him to have a mother.

This is how the Rugrats find themselves in the middle of an adventure, just in order to get out of it with success and to enter in the middle of another adventure. Everything happens in Paris and in the landmarks around Paris and the movie culminates with a Godzilla like pursuit. It is not absolutely necessary to watch the first Rugrats Movie in order to understand the jokes in Rugrats in Paris: the Movie. However, those who didn’t watch the first movie might have some problems in figuring out who the parents for each baby are. Someone who never saw the first movie might also have some issues in understanding what all the babies and the parents are doing in the movie together. Apart from this, there should be no other problems for those who never watched the Rugrats before.

The movie should be seen as an extension of the popular television series and even though the fans of the television series will already be updated regarding the parents and the babies, newcomers will also enjoy it to the fullest. A young kid will not get all the jokes, as some of them are social commentaries that will make adults laugh, but they will surely have a good laugh thanks to the babies. The adventures are exciting and the babies are hilarious for younger kids, so they will also have a lot of fun watching the movie. In addition to all these, there will be a very strong accent put on the strong love between parents and their children, so there is an education side of the movie too. All in all, the Movie is a good choice for both adults and children, as it is complex.
