The Rugrats Movie is based off the popular Nick tv show The Rugrats, but now there is another addition to the Pickles family. Tommy gets a new brother Dill, and he isn’t very happy about it. Chucky, Phil, Lil and Angelica don’t like Dill either. One day Tommy’s dad Stu is getting ready to send out one of his inventions, The Reptar Wagon, in the mail. The babies decide to send Dill back to the hospital in the Reptar Wagon and when Tommy disapproves, they all end up in the wagon, rolling out of the house and recklessly soaring through the streets until they reach the woods. Dill had gotten a hold of Angelica’s doll Cynthia so Angelica gets Tommy’s dog Spike and sets out to find Cynthia. The babies crash land in the woods and don’t know what to do. Tommy tries to lead the way and protect everyone including his new baby brother and it was very hard. Phil, Lil and Chucky start to turn on Tommy, so Tommy takes Dill and starts looking for home. In the mean time, there was a train that had crashed just outside of the woods that was filled with show monkeys. The monkeys are all over the place but the babies don’t know it. The parents are all going crazy trying to find their missing babies. They finally find out they are in the wood and set out to look. Stu keeps trying to figure out which one of his many wild inventions he could actually use to help them find the babies in the woods. The babies find out about the monkeys when they tried to feed Dill his banana flavored food. The monkeys end up chasing the babies to the ranger’s stations were they find Angelica and Spike. All the babies are reunited with their parents and the babies finally except Dill as one of them.
