The Wild Thornberrys Movie is an animated adventure film that was released in 2002. It stars all of the main voice cast from The Wild Thornberrys animated television series. The Wild Thornberrys Movie starts with the main character, Eliza Thornberry, voiced by Lacey Chabert, playing with some wild cheetahs in Africa. This is an important aspect to remember because Eliza has the ability to talk to all kinds of animals and has done so on a regular basis. Meanwhile, the rest of her family are wildlife photographers and travel around the world in their humvee, documenting for a nature television show. Eliza gets left in charge of the cheetah cubs by the mother, but Eliza strays too far from the area and as a result one of the cubs named Tally, voiced by Kimberly Brooks, is kidnapped by poachers. Realizing how bad the situation has gotten and how much trouble was caused, Eliza decides to venture off and rescue Tally from the poachers before it's too late.

The Wild Thornberrys Movie was directed by Cathy Malkasian and Jeff McGrath. Along with all of the key voice actors from the show, the movie was produced by Arlene Klasky and Gabor Csupo.
