Watch Sacrifice

Every five years in a village in Southern Nepal, a festival takes place to pay homage to a Hindu Goddess where over 500,000 animals including Buffalo, roosters, goats, pigs, and pigeons are sacrificed. This is a documentary about how need and desire drive the human spirit, it's about what we, as people, are willing to do to gain a sense of peace and freedom and about the price paid for such joy.
