This Indian Tamil language romance drama film was released in theaters in 2007. This film is about a director named Sivaji who's ambition is to create a film about the love story of Salim and Anarkali. After much searching, he finds the perfect actress for the role of Anarkali in a poor girl named Nalini. Sivaji's wife becomes jealous of the director's relationship with the actress and forces Sivaji to dismiss her, which puts a stop on the project. Many years pass by and Sivaji becomes a father. During a show he sees a dancer who would be perfect for his film. The dancer turns out to be the daughter of Nalini, the girl he choose at first to play the part of Ankarali in his film many years ago.
