This 70's Indian drama was directed by Ramesh Saigal. The notable song Tu Hi Sagar Tu Hi Kinara was prominently featured in the film's soundtrack. The plot of the film revolves around a young and exceedingly intelligent young college student named Rakesh. Rakesh seems to have it all, excellent test scores, a promising future, a loving bride-to-be and a warm inner circle of friends and family. However, he couldn't be more miserable due to his ironclad sense of justice. In seeking answers to the world's seeming indifference, he falls in with a strange group of freedom seeking hippies and leaves friends, family and his fiance on a mission of self discovery.
