Scary or Die

Five mini stories all culminate for a horror experience worthy of most audiences. The stories are unique unto themselves, each is specific to a genre of horror movies. "The Crossing" occurs on the Arizona/Mexico border. Zombies have overrun the border and it is up three youth to fight them. Graphic visuals will keep zombie enthusiasts coming back. There is a twist in the plot that will catch even the most enthusiastic zombie movie aficionado off guard. "Taejung's Lament" is a love story for the morbid with rewards for doing the right thing. A young man of Korean descent is saddened by the sudden loss of his wife. As he goes through his sadness the viewer's imagination will be a useful tool in deducing the climax and ending of this short. "Re-Membered" brings interest to the plight after a successful hit on a target of the mob. As the hitman drives down the road to dispose of the dismembered remains of his latest victim he begins to hear noises coming from the trunk of his car. The initial thought that is implied is that of Edgar Allen Poe's "Tell-Tale Heart" but it soon becomes clear that the victim in the trunk is more than the hitman bargained for. "Clowned" shows a new angle on the flesh-eating clown concept. The main character is a man who was bit by a clown and then begins turning into one himself. As clowns love children, the clown who is turned, much like a werewolf, covets the flesh of children. This poses a problem for the new clown monster as the child's flesh he wants the most is that of his own younger brother. "Lover Come Back" is a very brief account of a dead woman's life. The story is told through flashbacks and narration and adds a small tie-in to the other vignettes as a conclusion for them all.
