Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright is a 2013 animated comedy mystery film starring the popular character, Scooby-Doo, and his gang, which includes Fred (Frank Welker), Shaggy (Matthew Lillard), Daphne (Grey Griffin), Velma (Mindy Cohn), and of course, Scooby-Doo himself. The film is directed by Victor Cook, and produced by Warner Bros. Animation. It serves as the twenty-first installment in the Scooby-Doo film franchise.

The plot of the movie revolves around the gang visiting a popular music festival in the small town of Chicago, where they end up being contestants in a talent show. However, things take a turn for the worse when the famous singer and host of the talent competition, Emma Gale (Tia Carrere), suddenly disappears.

The mystery deepens when it is revealed that Emma's manager, Vance, (Peter MacNicol), has a history with the gang and that he may have some involvement in her disappearance. The gang sets out on a mission to uncover the true identity of the suspect and give Emma the justice she deserves.

As the story progresses, the audience is introduced to a host of other characters, including musicians, dancers and stage crew members, who all have their own reasons for wanting to win the talent show. However, as the night of the final performance approaches, it becomes clear that someone is determined to sabotage the event and cause chaos.

What makes Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright exciting to watch is the intriguing plot and the numerous twists and turns that the story takes as the gang tries to solve the mystery. The film is also entertaining because it features numerous musical performances, which include some catchy tunes that make the audience dance along.

The character design is also noteworthy, with each member of the gang being portrayed in their signature style. Shaggy and Scooby-Doo remain the classic comedy duo, with their love for food and the classic scaredy-cat reaction to anything spooky. Fred is confident and brave, while Daphne is daring and quick-witted. Velma, known for her great intellect, is the one who puts the clues together to help solve the mystery.

The voice acting in the movie is also done exceptionally well, with Frank Welker reprising his role as Fred since the 1960s television series. Matthew Lillard, who portrayed Shaggy in the 2002 live-action film adaptation, also voices him in the animated version. Grey Griffin, who has worked on multiple Scooby-Doo projects in the past, portrays Daphne’s voice, while Mindy Cohn gives voice to the character of Velma.

As with every Scooby-Doo movie, the film's climax involves a high-paced chase scene, with the gang chasing the suspect through various obstacles and hidden passageways. The scene is filled with suspense and excitement, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats.

The film also does an excellent job of portraying the value of teamwork, with each member of the gang using their unique skills to solve the mystery. Furthermore, the movie conveys the message that individuals should be judged not only on their appearances, but also on their skills and abilities.

Overall, Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright is a great addition to the long-running franchise, which has been entertaining viewers of all ages for over 50 years. Whether you are a longtime fan of the series or a newcomer, the movie has something for everyone, combining comedy, mystery, and music in a way that only the gang and their lovable canine companion can deliver.
