Secret of the Wings is a Tinker Bell movie about winter. The movie starts at the beginning of winter when Tinker Bell is helping her friend Fawn get the animals to go across the bridge to go into the winter side of Pixie Hollow. Fawn reminds Tinker Bell that they are strictly forbidden to go on that side. Of course, Tinker Bell cannot help herself. She goes over the bridge to explore, disregarding the warning that Fawn said. Fawn realizes that Tinker Bell has gone over, but not before she has noticed that her wings have changed colors. Fawn rushes over to take Tinker Bell back over to the autumn side of Pixie Hollow. Fawn checks Tinker Bell’s wings and realizes that they are frozen. She immediately takes Tinker Bell to the fairy hospital to be examined. Tinker Bell goes to the fairy library to find out why her wings changed color. She finds the book although the page she wants is missing. Tinker Bell asks the librarian if he knows why her wings changed. He tells Tinker Bell that the fairy that wrote the book is still alive. The problem is that he lives on the winter side where the other fairies are forbidden to go. Tinker Bell ignores the warning. She goes over to the Winter Woods using the last shipment of supplies to Winter as her chance to get over there without anyone seeing her. Tinker Bell finds her way to the writer of the book. A winter fairy rushes in and tells him that her wings are sparkling. Tinker Bell meets the other fairy. The writer of the book explains that they were born of the same baby’s laugh thus they are sisters. The two are separated. Tinker Bell is forced back over the bridge. A contraption she had made causes havoc and the entire fairy world has to save the pixie dust tree.
