A girl in high school named Shelley lives with her younger sister Tanya, her father Carl, and her step-mother. Her father has always been abusive to her and her step-mother is mean and abusive, too. Carl leaves his two daughters with the step-mother because he is running from the law. Shelley takes care of Tanya the best that she can. However, when Carl comes back things take a turn for the worst.
