Suspension of Disbelief is a thriller film directed by Mike Figgis. The film follows Martin, a successful cinema and theater writer who teaches film school students. His wife vanished fifteen years ago, leaving Martin as a single dad to their daughter Sarah. At his birthday party, Martin meets Angelique, who winds up dead the next day. Now he finds himself at the center of police investigations and involved with Angelique’s twin sister, Therese. But no one around Martin is who they seem to be, and a web of illicit relationships and lies entrap him… and he must get out alive.
