Sweeney Todd: Classic Horror is a musical horror film that is based on the musical of the same name by Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler. The story is inspired by the legend of Sweeney Todd, also known as the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, who was a serial killer in London during the 19th century. The film is directed by Tim Burton and stars Johnny Depp as Sweeney Todd and Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett. The film is set in the Victorian era and follows the story of Sweeney Todd, a barber who was wrongfully imprisoned by Judge Turpin (Alan Rickman) for 15 years. Upon his release, Sweeney returns to London seeking revenge against Judge Turpin and all those who wronged him in the past.

The film opens with Sweeney Todd returning to London after being released from prison. He seeks out his old friend, Mrs. Lovett, who runs a meat pie shop below his old barber shop. Mrs. Lovett is pleased to see Sweeney and reveals that his wife, Lucy, poisoned herself after being raped by Judge Turpin. She also reveals that Judge Turpin has taken custody of Sweeney's daughter, Johanna, and intends to marry her.

Sweeney vows to get revenge on Judge Turpin and decides to reopen his old barber shop. He sets up a secret trapdoor in his barber chair that leads to a dungeon where he kills his victims. Mrs. Lovett, who is in love with Sweeney, comes up with the idea of using the bodies of his victims to make meat pies for her shop.

As Sweeney's desire for revenge grows, he becomes more and more reckless. He kills any customer who sits in his chair, hoping that one of them will be Judge Turpin. Meanwhile, Johanna has fallen in love with a young sailor named Anthony (Jamie Campbell Bower) and they plan to elope. However, Judge Turpin has other plans for Johanna and will stop at nothing to keep her for himself.

The film is filled with dark, gothic imagery and features several haunting musical numbers, including "No Place Like London," "Pretty Women," and "A Little Priest." The performances by Depp and Bonham Carter are both excellent, and they manage to bring a twisted sense of humor to their characters.

Overall, Sweeney Todd: Classic Horror is a macabre and entertaining film that blends horror and musical genres in a unique way. It's not for the faint of heart, as the film includes several bloody and violent scenes. However, for those who enjoy dark comedies and horror films, Sweeney Todd is definitely worth checking out.
