Two college students from different worlds combine their adventurous spirits to embark on an unforgettable journey through an ancient land rich in culture and history. Tanzania is the birthplace of Venance, a young man with an eager thirst for science and knowledge. His drive and ambition propels him across the Atlantic ocean to study at the University of Miami, where he meets Kristen, a privileged American with a big heart. Their friendship depicted in this fist-hand documentary takes them on a beautiful odyssey through the enchanting lands of Africa. Venance intends to find family members that he has not seen for nearly a decade. Kristen tags along for the adventure, however, before the journey is over Kristen will gain much more than an international travel experience.
