A CAMEO REPORT ON THE LIFE OF AMERICAN SOLDIERS IN EUROPE RELEASED ON "THE BIG PICTURE" -- "Army Newsreel #2" is an adaptation of a newsreel prepared by the Army in Europe for showing to servicemen and women, their dependents, and Army civilian employees. Shown originally in Army motion picture theatres, this THE BIG PICTURE release deals with the lives of Army personnel on duty in Europe. Recorded for the newsreels by Army Signal Corps cameramen, "Newsreel # 2" covers many subjects quite American in nature. Others reflect an international character. Still others are part of the recreational backdrop provided by the respective country in which the American and his family find themselves.
