Watch The First Pompeii

1,800 years before Vesuvius erupted and overwhelmed Pompeii, a Bronze Age village in the volcano's shadow suffered the same terrible fate. The village has lain buried for almost 4,000 years, but the recent discovery of this unique Bronze Age site, together with the skeletons of two victims of the disaster, have brought the cataclysmic events of that day in 1700 BC into focus.
