The Great Man, originally titled Le grand homme, is a French film from 2015. Markov and Hamilton are a pair of French Legionnaires nearing the conclusion of their tour in Afghanistan. After an ambush strikes the men, Markov and Hamilton inadvertently commit dereliction of duty. Markov thinks over his reasons for joining the Legion and is reminded of the lengths and reasons he has gone to in order to immigrate to France.
