Watch The Herdsman

The Herdsman is a drama film that was released in 1982 in China. A young man is separated from his father who works as a sheepherder in rural China. The man is adopted by a family of carpenters, and he lives a happy life. However, the young man hopes to find his original family, and cannot as the result of them changing their name to avoid the communists. The young man is eventually able to track down his father, and soon finds himself falling in love with the life of being a herder.
