The Lions Of Canakkale Gallipoli War is a war documentary that was released in 2007 in Turkey. During World War 1 the British attempted to force their way into the Black Sea by running dozens of their old battleship past the guns the defended the straight. This would allow for them to shell Istanbul, which may result in the Austro Hungarian Empire leaving the war. This battle ended with the British and French landing thousands of men in Greece, and them being held back by Turkish defenders. This became a national crisis for Britain. The documentary is told from the Turkish point of view.
