In 2001, a tablet was offered for sale to the Israel Museum which appeared to come from the Temple of Solomon. Scholars and scientists declared it genuine, but an official investigation revealed that it was an elaborate fake. Authorities have now announced the same gang has been producing fake Biblical artifacts for over twenty years and many museum collections in the world may now be in doubt.
