Watch The Vatican's Lost War

The Vatican's Lost War is the revisiting of a historic three year, Second Vatican Council that met in Rome and was made up of 3000 Cardinals, Bishops, Clergy, and other qualified religious leaders from all over the world. Pope John XXXIII intended the Council to discuss how the Catholic Church could be re-united and renewed to become more pertinent in the modern world and to discuss what the changes would affect. Some of the changes discussed concerned contraception, matrimonial principles, whether priests should be allowed to marry, and the role of women in the church. Vatican II divided the Catholic Council Members between those who thought the church didn't make enough changes and the those who believed the changes would destroy the church.
