The Venetian Affair is a dramatic film about Bill, a CIA agent who decides to quit the agency and become a freelance journalist. He soon gets a job investigating a suicide bomb attack in Venice, Italy. While he is there, the CIA asks him to come back to work for the agency because they believe his ex-wife, Sandra, is involved in the bombing. Sandra is a Communist and has ties to radical groups. Bill investigates his ex-wife and soon finds himself involved in a tangled web of deceit, espionage, and politics.
