Dana and Nicholas are two actors in an independent film. She plays an eccentric painter, he his suitor. In the set they know each other better and the relationship between them becomes more and more intimate. The director is so angry with Nicholas's performance. The shooting continues and during a special scene Nicholas upsets Dana confiding a secret that shatters the script.
