This is a 33-minute documentary about the struggles of children in Santa Fe, Argentina. The children are poor, so they wait for the trains to pass through their neighborhood of Tire Dié. When the trains come through, the children beg for money. Tire Dié, they yell to the passengers. In English the phrase means Toss me a dime. Because the trains don't stop, the situation is dangerous for the children, who must run alongside the tracks. This film is considered an important part of the New Latin American cinema movement.
