Xi'an or its old name, Chang'an, is the provincial capital of Shaanxi. As one of six Chinese ancient capitals, Xi'an dates back to more than 3000 years ago. The well-known Silk Road begins with it. Places of interest in Xi'an include Banpo Village Ruins, Big (Wild) Goose Pagoda, Little (Wild) Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower, Drum Tower and well-preserved City wall of Xi'an.
