Turtle: The Incredible Journey is a documentary that was co-produced by Seaworld and Tradewind Pictures. It follows the life of a female Loggerhead Turtle as she hatches from and an egg buried in the sand and makes her way to the sea where she migrates north and then eventually back to lay eggs of her own. The film exposes her struggles to survive against staggering odds. Only one in ten thousand loggerhead turtles makes it back to lay their own eggs. She has to find her way north and along the way she loses many of her siblings, is almost captured by fisherman, and meets many other great creatures that call the vast ocean their home.

When the turtle finally reaches the northern seas she is greeted with major problems facing the world. The ice is melting and the sea levels are rapidly on the rise threatening the lives of her and many other sea species.

Eventually the journey brings the turtle back to that same Florida beach where she was born and she crawls ashore to give life to a new generation of turtles.
