This Spanish Catalan film was released in theaters in 1972. The film is black and white and is mostly silent except for a brief fifteen minute interval where the lead character, a man played by Christopher Lee recites a poem by Edgar Allen Poe and sings opera. The film follows a man as he wanders around Barcelona and includes his most intimate moments. It is meant to be a form of protest against the censorship that took hold in Spain during Francisco Franco's rule. The movie also contains historical footage from the Franco era in Spain.
